A Former TCM Resident Testifies…

By Julie Ann Mack

God opened the door for me to go to TCM in 1986. Who knows where I would be today if I had not had the opportunity to go to the Mansion.

It was such a blessing to live at the Mansion and attend Tupelo Christian Academy. I really enjoyed school. Church was also great!

I have some wonderful memories such as traveling, vacations with my sponsors, a senior trip to Alabama, and vacations with our houseparents and the other girls in our resident home. Tears come to my eyes when I think about all the good times I had in Tupelo.

All of the staff truly cared for me, and about me. They made a great impact on my life.

As a former resident, I can testify that the Mansion is a decent, caring, Godly place to be. I praise God for those who had a vision to have a place like this for children in need.

There is a song I love to sing, “When I think about the Lord, How He raised me, How He saved me…I just want to shout, Hallelujah, Thank You Jesus!” That song is special to me in every way. That is truly how I feel. God has been so real and good to me. And I love Him so much!
