Stephen JuddStephen Judd has served as President of Tupelo Children’s Mansion and Senior Pastor of Life Church since May, 2001. During his leadership tenure, TCM has experienced great fiscal growth and program development.

Only the sixth president in the fifty-eight year history of TCM, Stephen Judd has overseen the expansion of Tupelo Children’s Mansion to include the opening of Haven of Hope Girls’ Home, a home for troubled teenage girls.

In addition to his responsibilities as President of TCM, Stephen Judd also fulfills the role of Chairman of the two subsidiary boards of TCM—Tupelo Children’s Mansion, Inc. (the residential program), and Tupelo Christian Academy, Inc. (the educational program and school).

Prior to assuming the leadership of TCM, he served as a pastor in Jonesboro, Arkansas, for 16 years. He has also served the United Pentecostal Church International as the General Youth Secretary from 1977 to 1985. During this time, he coordinated the International Youth Corp program, was instrumental in the development of the North American Youth Congress, and served as the Director of Bible Quizzing. The Regional Quiz Extravaganzas and the Bible Doctrine curriculum for quizzing were developed under his leadership.

Stephen Judd was born in Tupelo, Mississippi, while his parents, Edwin and Evelyn Judd, served at Pentecostal Bible Institute (PBI). He spent most of his childhood on Bible College campuses in Tupelo and Portland, Oregon. His formative years as a teenager were spent in St. Louis, Missouri, where his father was involved in Foreign Missions administrative work. After graduating from high school, Stephen Judd attended Gateway College of Evangelism in St. Louis. It was during this time that he met his wife-to-be, Erma. They have been married for over 38 years.

The Judds have two daughters, Tamisha and Tamara. Tamisha, who has her doctorate in Counseling Psychology, is married to Chad Utermark. They live in Jonesboro, AR, and have a 7-year-old son, Chadwick Judd, and a 3-year old son, Douglas Jake.  Tamara, the younger of the two girls, graduated from Texas A&M with a Masters in Business Administration. She is married to Ben Sanders, and they live in Dallas, TX. They have a 1-year old son, Baron Michael. Both couples are actively involved in their local churches. Stephen Judd enjoys spending time with his family, especially his grandsons, and playing golf.
