Volunteering

Volunteering to Make a Difference

The dedicated work of volunteers contributes greatly to the success of the Mansion!  Whether it’s painting, construction, or helping out at our thrift store, there is always more work to be done than we can handle by ourselves.

You can make a difference in the lives of our children.

Thrift Store

Consider volunteering at our Mansion Thrift Store. With the thousands of donations in clothes and household items that we receive, we always need help sorting clothes, stocking shelves, assembling furniture, and assisting customers.

Construction

With a campus spanning 40 acres and 27 buildings, construction projects—including painting, cleaning, and building—are an ongoing process. Maintenance and improvements are a large undertaking that would be impossible without the help of volunteers.

Volunteers also have the opportunity to interact with children and staff. Some groups come for a one-day project, while others may stay as long as a week and work on several projects. Any length of time that is given is always appreciated.

On-Campus

Throughout the year, there are many opportunities to help out on our campus. Whether it is assisting the maintenance department with mowing grass or raking leaves, or helping a housemother with laundry and cleaning, it seems there is always a chore yet to be done!

If you are interested in volunteering to make a difference, contact Edwin Judd for more information about how you can help.
